Please test your preferred method of screening MBMIFF content well in advance of our daily live stream kick-off.

The festival will be streaming at 1080p via an online platform - VIMEO.  Due to the size of the stream, larger 4K and Ultra HD television screens/monitors will not be ideal for streaming the festival content.  

MBMIFF will not be offering re-plays nor encore presentations of daily festival content.  The following are brief suggestions for the best viewing experience.  Your selection is subject to the specs of your laptop, mobile device or tablet in relation to the method and devices where the content may be viewed.  Any further questions, please check out various tutorials available on-line for any of these suggested methods below.

Use any of the methods below as an option to screen content on an appropriate sized television or monitor in your home.  Most computer monitors should provide a great experience; some smaller TV screens as well.

Use the FULL SCREEN expander in the lower right corner of the live streaming box to screen content in full on your laptop, tablet, Television or Monitor.

Airplay live stream webpage from laptop to Apple TV hooked up to Television, Monitor or other Airplay visible devices.

With Apple TV you can connect any Apple device and computer by mirroring your screen. While being in the vicinity of the Apple TV, go to the airplay icon on the computer or swipe up on your Apple device and select “Screen Mirroring” for options.

Please note that this method only works with Apple Devices. 

Via Chrome Cast device: navigate to the content you want to watch/listen to/play on your Android or iOS mobile device or in your Chrome browser on your laptop and then “cast” it to your TV through the player.

With the Firestick, you can connect your laptop or Android mobile device by pressing the home button on the remote and moving over to the mirroring tab.

Make sure the device is under 30 feet from the TV and both are connected to the same WiFi.

Please note this only works directly with Android devices. 

Plug an HDMI cord into laptop and into HDMI port on your television or monitor.

If your laptop has an HDMI port, you can directly connect it to the TV using an HDMI cable. Once you connect the cable you can look for either an “input” or “source” button on the remote and find the designated connection.

Due to changes with VIMEO permissions, private live streams are NOT visible through VIMEO app on Smart TVs.

Open the streaming page for festival programming, enter the password and enjoy!
