Join us for this new addition to MBMIFF's programming!

All students in 8-12th grade are eligible to compete.

​

Form a "production company" with a group of three to four friends and give it a snappy name.

​

Sign up by September 30th either with Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Public Library, Middle Country Public Library or email us directly to enter.  

 

You'll receive an email from MBMIFF on October 2nd that will include a randomly selected genre, one prop, one dialogue line (all groups will receive the same line of dialogue) and one character that you must include in your team's 2 minute film.

 

We're looking for projects with a basic narrative structure: beginning, middle and end.  Write, cast, shoot, edit and submit your film in 7 DAYS.

 

Turn in your final cut by October 9th at 11:59pm.

We'll be screening student work at the MBMIFF on October 13th at 7pm!

The winning team will receive a small prize and the honor of being the first recipient of the TRUE NORTH AWARD!
